ADHD Day Program
Who is this program for?
The Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) program is for adults who have a diagnosis of ADHD and who are seeking support to manage their symptoms.
How will it help me?
The ADHD group program is a structured and supportive environment designed to help individuals with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) learn effective strategies for managing their symptoms and improving their overall quality of life. The aim is to help participants view their diagnosis separately from the prevalent social myths that can otherwise create feelings of shame.
The focus is on topics including attention, memory and executive functioning, as well as coping strategies, interpersonal relationships and life skills. Mindfulness is integrated throughout the program, which includes learning the principles of mindfulness and skills training. This is integral because mindfulness is the antidote to attention problems.
When does it run?
This program runs on one day per week from 9:20am – 3:00pm and one evening per week from 5:30pm-8:45pm for 10 weeks duration. The final session will include a supportive information session for family and friends.
